Description
Secure a highly coveted piece of the galaxy’s most iconic astromech droid. Produced by Agoro (the premium, ultra-exclusive division of the New Zealand Mint), the Agoro Star Wars R2-D2 Blind Box 5g Silver Foil (Tier 2 Alternative Full Colour Finish) is a magnificent pop-culture collector's piece. Originally released in a blind mystery format, this listing has been carefully unboxed to guarantee you receive the highly sought-after Tier 2 Alternative Art variant. Struck in 5 grams of pure .999 fine silver with a brilliant proof finish, this legal tender note features a limited mintage of only 1,500 pieces worldwide, making it twice as rare as the standard Tier 1 release.
Design Highlights:
- Front (Reverse Artwork): Features an explosive, premium Alternative Full Colour action scene depicting R2-D2 inside the cockpit of a starfighter. The surface of the Death Star and a vibrant galactic space battle unfold vividly in the background, complete with the signature "agoro" maker's logo.
- Back (Obverse Motif): Bears the official Public Seal of Niue Coat of Arms, confirming its status as official legal tender with a $1 NZD face value, stamped alongside its unique, individual serial number within the 1,500-unit tier.
